The Gap

Wow, sorry for just disappearing into the ether for the last week-and-a-half, it was definitely not planned. As most of my regulars know, my new term started last week and and this one is going to be a toughie. I'm finally through the bulk of my Gen Ed courses, so this term all of my classes are based on my major. There has been a ton of reading for all of my classes, which wouldn't normally be a problem since I: 1) really enjoy reading, and 2) can speed-read. However, my Microbiology book is an especially tough one to get through and understand. Often I'm reading each section twice to make sure I'm absorbing and comprehending the text. Unfortunately for all of you, school is my priority and I had to focus on my studies rather than worry about my social media footprints.

When Monday arrived, I had fully intended to get back into the posting with a new Motivate Me Monday post. Sadly, for whatever the reason, I had absolutely NO Internet connectivity at my house. For TWO days... So, rather than post my typical MMM today, I thought I should use my free time and send out a little explanation of what happened during "The Gap."

I hope that I really keep the blog on a regular schedule now that I've adjusted to my latest term. If there is another lull, I'm hoping to at least still post the MMM every week. Sorry that this is a short and sweet one, but -as I said - I'm lacking in free time. I'm hoping for a more substantial post this weekend. Until next post: thanks for reading, y'all!
